Monica Bradley
My name is Monica Bradley I am the current Vice president as well as coach for the 2010G team. I’ve have a passion for soccer since my childhood and enjoy spending time as a coach. But most of all I strive to make an impact in the community and the lives I touch. I look forward to being a part of the growth of Desert United Soccer Club as it is the first and longest standing club in the Coachella Valley.
Christie Olvera
My name is Christie Olvera and I am your current Board President and Treasurer. I grew up in the coachella valley and was a part of AYSO throughout my childhood. I was a three sport athlete in high school and graduated from the University of South Carolina on an athletic scholarship. When the opportunity arose to be a part of the Desert United Soccer Club’s board I jumped at the chance, as I enjoy giving back to the community. Both of my daughters have been on competitive teams and I not only enjoy watching them but also being a part of creating opportunities for them to grow in these environments. As a board member I am most excited for our future and to expand our club that has been in the desert since 1998.
Arsy Aranda
Hi! My name is Arsy, and my daughter has played soccer with Desert United for two years. I enjoy helping the team and am excited to do the same for Desert United - which provides our children with what they need to learn and enjoy the game.
Miranda Armstrong
My name is Miranda Armstrong. I have been appointed to the position of Director of Coaching (DOC) to aid Desert United (DU) in development to serve our community to the best of our ability as educators. In this important role, we use the field and the game of soccer as our vessel to coach, acknowledging that each person is more than just a soccer player. I have lived in the Coachella Valley for 5 years and have been coaching for 26 years (College, High School, Club, ODP and USYS West Region, etc…). I have also held age group and goalkeeping director roles in Club soccer. Currently I am an Assistant Coach for Pomona-Pitzer Women’s soccer, work with US Soccer as a Scout and am the DOC for DU! I hold a USSF A license, a USSF National GK license, a United Soccer Coaches Premier and a United Soccer Coaches GK license. These combined experiences have made me uniquely prepared to guide our committed coaches and families and to help stabilize the club through the next phase of growth.
